Introduction to chain coupling
Chain couplings use common chains and mesh with two parallel sprockets with the same number of teeth. The main difference between chain couplings of different structural types is that they use different chains.
Common ones include double-row Roller Chain couplings, single-row roller chain couplings, toothed chain couplings, nylon chain couplings, etc.
The chain coupling has the advantages of simple structure (composed of four parts), easy to assemble and disassemble, no need to move the connected two shafts during disassembly, compact size, light weight, certain compensation capabilities, low installation accuracy requirements, reliable work, long service life and low cost. It can be used for shaft transmission of textiles, agricultural machinery, lifting and transportation, engineering, mining, light industry, chemical and other machinery.
Suitable for high temperature, humid and dusty working environments, not for high speed, severe impact loads and axial force transmission, the chain coupling should work under good lubrication and protective cover.
